Parc Y Tywyn Primary School is a Welsh medium Passivhaus Primary school located in Carmarthenshire, Wales. A one and half form entry Primary School with attached nursery, the school was relocated to an old industrial site some 3 miles from it’s original dilapidated site. Given a new south facing aspect with views across the nearby Loughor Estuary, the school is constructed using pre fabricated timber frame technology and clad in Zinc and locally sourced Welsh timber.

• This project was completed as Project Architect and CEPH designer at Architype Architects on a design and build contract.
